The Problem
Robotics teams record thousands of self-shot video trajectories for training. Before a single trajectory can be used, it has to be validated. Teams were spending 2β6 weeks writing custom analysis scripts to test thousands of trajectories β then repeating the effort every month as new data came in. The alternative: contracting out or hiring developers just to build the pipeline.
The Approach
We built an automated trajectory analysis platform. Every trajectory runs through 12+ quality checks to determine whether itβs suitable for training β grounded in how real robotics teams actually use trajectory data. Valid trajectories are output in standardized formats ready for robot training, with no manual scripting.
The Outcome
No more 2β6 week scripting cycles, no contractors or new hires to maintain the pipeline β new trajectories are analyzed automatically every month. And up to 50% of trajectories that would otherwise be deprioritized for suspected bad quality are now recovered and used for training.
